More horror!

A follow up to this post

A little summary and impressions on the movies I've already watched, in the order I watched them:

The Asphyx - The premise is very interesting, but the movie itself was more slow-paced than what I'm used to, and it had several plot holes. Important and big plot holes. Like in "the things/actions that resolved the whole movie didn't make any sense. At all" plot holes. To the point where, if it hadn't been all so srs, I could've thought I was watching something very close to a Capulina movie. :x
I still had fun watching it, and the guinea pig was really cute.

Paperhouse - I was really curious about this one, because of what it said in the list about it being initialy a children's movie, although marketed later as a horror because it ended up being too scary. Well, I think it's an actual children's film with like five really scary minutes. That scene is absolutely justified and quite symbolic, and I think most children could handle it. I mean, Gmork was scarier.
I really liked it, nevertheless.

Dead End - This is the one that scared me the most of the three. Specially the scene where the mother was holding the gun after her break down. Things that could actually happen are the ones that scare me the most. *shudder* Its Twenty Minutes With Jerks (although they were more than 17, I COUNTED) weren't all that bad. The dialogue was witty, and I kept wanting to stuff a sock in the boy's mouth, which I think is a mild response. (It's not common for me to want to react aggressively against fictional characters.)
The ending was somewhat of a let down, but it was fun to watch.
