Crossover [Doctor Who / Momo]
414 Words.
Spoilers for Doctor Who 6x04 - The Doctor's Wife. And for all of Momo.
G-Rated.
The Tardis losing power was never a good sign. Specially when the Doctor couldn't pinpoint the cause---which was practically every time this happened. Luckily, after the last time, he'd done some research and came out with something very interesting. He used the last of the time machine's strength---and a little souvenir from a quick trip to a pet store---to make it happen.
"A turtle? Seriously?" was written on the back of Sexy's shell.
"They're more resistant and can hold you in for way longer than a human body," the Doctor said, beaming. "Besides, this way, we can talk again! Isn't it marvelous?"
"You can talk. I write."
"The point is that we can communicate. Am I not brilliant?"
"Yes, yes I am," the Doctor continued pretending he hadn't read Sexy's statement. "But now we must find a way to fix you."
"Yes, please."
The Doctor picked up Sexy and went to the big outside to find out what had happened in the first place. It wasn't easy, but soon they figured out that a branch of the Silence family specialized in stealing time was the cause of it all.
"And I can't face them," the Doctor said to Sexy. "As a Time Lord and time-traveler, I'm more vulnerable than anyone else."
"Ask someone for help," Sexy wrote on her shell.
"We'll have to find someone who can pose a threat to them. Someone they see as a worthy opponent."
"That might take a while."
But it wasn't as long as they'd feared. The Gray Men, as the Doctor began to call them, had practically taken over everyone around, yes, but they soon found someone whose will wasn't going to bend over to them.
The Doctor and Sexy found her as well, and right on time.
"Can you bring the girl all the way here?" the Doctor asked Sexy.
"Of course I can," Sexy replied. "I can always bring anyone to myself. The way is in me, after all."
The Doctor nodded and began to prepare everything else in the Tardis for his plan. A very complex and risky plan, but the best one he could think of. "Very well. Take care, Cassiopeia."
"Excuse me?"
"I can't go on calling you Sexy in front of a child. You'll be Cassiopeia this once. It's a pretty name, I'd say."
The turtle rolled her eyes. "Fine," she said before she left to the amphitheater looking for the girl named Momo.
