The Attack of the Mutant Insects!
There were this big flying ants at my house a while ago.
I took photographs of:
- a dead one I found on the floor: Photo 1 | Photo 2 | Photo 3 (I've no idea what happened to it, but I'm sure there's quite a story behind how it lost its wings.)
- a live one that was on the ceiling: Photo 1 | Photo 2 | Photo 3
The ants stopped showing up after that, but later, there was this insect I didn't recognize by my window. It was big-ish and it was trying to get out through the glass--not the first one to make that mistake, let me tell you. I took some pics of it before helping it by having it climb on the cover of a magazine. That was sorta difficult, because whenever the insect felt the magazine move, it climbed off, so I had to do it very slowly. Anyway, here they are:

A few days later, a dragonfly. A dragonfly. IN MY KITCHEN! It was so pretty. And easily over 15cm long. ;.;
Photo 1 | Photo 2 | Photo 3 | Photo 4
On top of that, today I found another little fellow floating inside a bucket. A beetle, and it was already drowned, sadly.

It's... just... I live in the middle of the city. :/ IDEK
