PLEEEEEEEEEEASE! DON'T SUCK!!!! DDDDDD:
So. I guess you can pretty much say that I have the knightridermania, right? I've only watched up to episode 3 of the first season, but I'm having a great time while I'm at it. And here I was, thinking how it's an old show (from the '82) and that very few people on the net remembers it, and well, small fandom and blahblahblah, when, suddenly, this jumps right to my face. Oh, dear.
Yes, it all points out to the good people in Hollywood thinking originality is for losers and (I'm guessing here) they're betting on franchises because those come with an already built-in fanbase which (I'm going conspiranoic here) is left in charge with the ever effective mouth-to-mouth publicity. I mean, at the very least, that's the one kind of marketing ploy to which I actually pay full, conscious attention. =D I mean, I think most of us are "weak" to our friend's suggestions, because a) they're our friends, we trust them, and b) they're our friends, we share similar tastes here and there and, therefore, we can be sure that there's a high chance for us to like what they've tried/listened/watched/read and liked.
The point is that I'm only looking for excuses to go and watch the movie. =DDD;;
P.S. According to the omniscient Wiki, Orly Bloom turned down a major part. LOL
P.P.S. Stop me before I start an internet petition for Johnny Depp to be in it.
ETA: Mythbusters do Knight Rider
