Man, I'd forgotten what it was like to breathe deeply without coughing my lungs out afterwards. There's still some cough remaining, and I know it's going to be one of those that hang around for over a month, but it's not longer Raistlin-like, which is always a relief.
Anyways, let me say a few words about the season finale of BBC Robin Hood. In all honesty, and even if I more often than not mock the term, I must say that Robin and Marian are my original OTP, more sacred even than Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Thus, it's more than likely that I won't be watching the programme when the third season starts. D: I mean, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY? ;.;
All along, I've missed Friar Tuck, but I understand their not including him for practically the same reason Robin wasn't a devout Marian like in the older versions of the story. I coped with Alan-a-Dale not being a minstrel because, well, he told many lies so, in a way, he was good at telling stories. I also didn't mind his betrayal that much becausethere was always the possibility of slashing him easily with Sir Guy he never spilled all the beans and he even protected Marian.
Also, I'm aware that re-telling and re-imagining come hand-in-hand with tweaks and modifications, but there's a point where you have to stop messing around if you want to keep some resemblance with the original materialor to keep angry fangirls away from your neck.
Point is, being Robin and Marian what they are --never mind what they are for the story, what they are to ME--, just imagine my face when they did actually KILL her this time around. ;;;_______;;;
They could have, y'know, sent her to a convent or something if the actor didn't want to participate anymore (which I don't know, because I rarely care about that sort of things >.>;;). Or maybe even cast someone else. ¬¬
On top of that, apparently there'll be no moar Djaq. ;.;
