Being a predator is all in the attitude
1) Every time I try to follow my dad's instructions to go somewhere, I end up driving in circles for half an hour. D| I should really just nod and then follow my own routes when/since he's not looking. I should have learned that by now. DD|
Also: three hours in line! WTH. Long lines were long and slow cashiers were slow and I nearly finished Steinbeck's book and made paper cranes with pamphlets in between chapters. I really dislike bureaucracy. :/
2) Since LJ is being slow like a slow thing, I'll put my commentary on Being Human 1x02 here.
So. George has been stalked by another werewolf who wanted to be with someone else. To be in a pack, to be more specific, using a word that I don't recall was used in the episode. This was a perfectly good motivation, a very wolf-like thing to do, I'd say.
Thing is... While human, George is way more like a dog than a wolf. A puppy, even. He doesn't know much about the cruel new world he's in now, but he found a family made of members of other species. Also, when he was on his way to be Tully's Mini-Me, he sort of reminded me of when my dogs hit adolescence; they kept being cocky and pushing boundaries and all that jazz, until they became adults and settled down. I'll stop being silly now, but I still sustain George is a very silly puppy.
Even though 'werewipes' was an awesome term, Tully was a huge douche. I understand him feeling lonely and suffering because of it, but that doesn't excuse his attitude. :| I think Mitchell should had kicked him and George out of the house for the attack on Annie, so George had to come back asking for forgiveness at the end of the episode. But that's just me.
So, yeah. I really liked this episode too, and I loved this:
Mitchell: "If anyone could teach me ways to control what I am, I'll jump at the chance."
I'm much inclined to believe he's the one who has it worst of the three of them.
