The Book of Eli

I finally saw The Book of Eli last night. It wasn't a bad movie. I found it to be very entertaining even if I was spoiled for the twist ending. I enjoyed the action secuences and Eli was a BAMF, but as I watched, I couldn't stop thinking about an entry I read--I can't recall if it was via metafandom or the network page--about the under/misrepresentation of atheists in media.

Also, my suspension of disbelieve suffered a little because ( spoilers. )

I think it's food for thought in many ways. (Yes, I can't turn my brain off when I watch/read things, why do you ask >>;;)

¿Alguien aquí sigue Mark Reads Harry Potter? Es exactamente lo que dice ahí: un tipo que está leyendo HP por primera vez y reseña capítulo por capítulo y a veces usa diferentes formatos o estilos. El capítulo de King Cross lo reseñó desde el POV de Hedwig, por ejemplo. En general, es adorkable y dan ganas de jalarle los cachetes cada vez.
Aunque aún tengo ganas de verlo leer/ver Matilda (o cualquier cosa de Roald Dahl) si los Dursley le causan tanto RAEG. Y justo acaba de conocer a Snape. |'Da
